s4dunicorn returns with the long-awaited 3rd installment of their 2023 trilogy

'ICARUS' is a heavenly display of flowing breakbeats and emotional melodies, with this latest entry in the series seemingly taking a calmer yet more focused approach compared to the projects that came before it ('from within these lonely walls' & 'they'll leave, just wait'), while still managing to deliver moments of high speed anarchy in brief sections clearly carved out with hype specifically in mind.

"this trilogy has almost felt like an unfinished book for the past few months, a book i didn't quite want to come to an end.

i poured a lot of pain into these projects over the course of this year and even though i love the product of these emotions and believe it's a good outlet, i sadly can't say i've made any progress towards being in a better place mentally.

i'll be continuing work on the 3rd and final 'Autophobia' project and hopefully release it nearer to the end of this year. i don't want to rush it but i'm starting to feel trapped by my sound, even though i'm getting better at it i want to experiment with some happier genres and i feel i can only do that once both these trilogies have been closed.

they've played such vital roles in my life over the past 2 years (Autophobia maybe more than this one even) and i want to end them with dignity, albeit silly i look forward to this final stretch alongside all of you" - s4dunicorn
